The Youth Employability Network, with support from SBP BSC Bahawalpur, has completed a comprehensive market study on the farming sector and small-scale farmers. The study examines key challenges such as limited access to modern resources, fluctuating prices, weak market linkages, and barriers to adopting advanced practices. It also reviews available financing options, highlighting government and institutional support, including opportunities under the “Kamyab Jawan Scheme” for young farmers and agripreneurs. Additionally, it identifies gaps in value chains and market connections. Overall, the study provides actionable insights to support policymakers and stakeholders in promoting sustainable agriculture and empowering small farmers.
The Youth Employability Network (YEN) promotes safe, orderly, and regular migration through awareness and capacity-building initiatives. It provides potential migrants with accurate information on migration procedures, risks of irregular migration, and legal pathways. YEN conducts pre-departure orientation sessions covering documentation, legal requirements, destination regulations, and workplace rights to ensure safer migration experiences. The organization also offers personalized counseling to migrants and their families, helping them make informed decisions. Through participatory research, YEN identifies key challenges and gaps within migrant communities. Based on these insights, it delivers need-based training programs, empowering individuals with practical knowledge to migrate safely and contribute positively to both host and home communities.
