Youth Employability Network

Youth Employability Network (YEN) is a registered social organization in Pakistan committed to promoting resilient livelihoods for youth and marginalized communities. Established in 2017, YEN has steadily evolved into a trusted partner for sustainable development, working to empower individuals and communities to create better, more secure futures. At the heart of YEN’s mission is the vision of an enabling environment where young people and vulnerable groups can thrive with dignity and opportunity. The organization prioritizes resilience, empowerment, and inclusive growth, ensuring that those often left behind are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to improve their socio-economic conditions. YEN’s work is structured around four interconnected pillars that address key development challenges. These include raising awareness about safe, orderly, and regular labor migration, as well as supporting the reintegration of return migrants; empowering youth and marginalized populations to develop sustainable and resilient livelihood opportunities; advancing climate resilience through research and strengthening institutional capacities; and promoting financial literacy and inclusion, particularly among women and underserved communities. Through these focus areas, YEN adopts a holistic approach to development that bridges economic, social, and environmental priorities. Since its inception, YEN has successfully implemented more than 115 large-scale projects across six thematic areas, collaborating with a wide range of national and international partners. This extensive experience has enabled the organization to play a leading role in promoting safe migration practices, fostering social inclusion, and supporting community integration and development initiatives throughout Pakistan. Its work reflects a deep understanding of local contexts combined with global best practices. YEN’s programmatic portfolio is diverse and impactful, encompassing initiatives in skill development, enterprise creation, digital transformation of small businesses, and capacity building for entrepreneurs. The organization has led awareness campaigns on safe migration, facilitated the reintegration of returning migrants, and championed women’s economic empowerment through targeted interventions in financial literacy and access to financial services. By partnering with government departments, development agencies, and civil society organizations, YEN ensures a collaborative and coordinated approach to achieving sustainable outcomes. Driven by a strong commitment to equity and innovation, YEN continues to foster entrepreneurship, resilience, and inclusive opportunities. Through evidence-based programming, strategic partnerships, and community-driven initiatives, the organization remains dedicated to building an empowered and inclusive society where everyone has the chance to succeed.
