YOUTH EMPLOYABILITY NETWORK

Youth Employability Network is working for the resilient livelihood of youth & marginalized communities in Pakistan, for this purpose YEN provide skill trainings to the communities, business development trainings, coaching, mentorship support and linkage with the financial institution and market networks. Youth Employability Network has implemented following projects on this component

National Financial Literacy Program with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Youth Employability Network (YEN) has conducted 1921 training sessions with MSMEs and local population in 10 districts on different topics (budgeting, saving, starting a small business, investments, assess to financial institutions and loaning procedures). YEN has engaged 49611 women & 12603 men in these training program. The project was started in January 2020 and completed in June 2022.

Youth Employability Network has worked with United National International Organization for Migration (UN-IOM) and successfully completed this project. YEN has engaged 80 return migrants in this project and delivered business development trainings for 80 return migrants and communities of Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sialkot & Rawalpindi under “Strengthening Social & economic resilience of returning Pakistani migrants” project, the project was funded by GIZ Pakistan. YEN has also engaged 80 return migrants and local population in skill trainings in four different trades (Tailoring & Embroidery, Electrician, Cooking & Culinary and Beauty parlor & Saloon Management)

Youth Employability Network has worked with care international in Pakistan (CIP) and delivered entrepreneurial skills training to100 beneficiaries(Return migrants, youth, women entrepreneurs and marginalized communities) under provision of economic opportunities to reintegrate migrants project. YEN has also provided skill trainings and linkages with the financial institution to 78 migrants and communities for their economic reintegration in their local communities. The project was implemented in migration prone district of Punjab

Small Business Start-up & Management training with SMEDA-NBDP/MMPL, YEN has conducted 26 trainings for more than 900 small & medium entrepreneurs across Punjab, Sindh & Baluchistan. The project has benefited more than 900 SMEs for their economic growth

Youth Employability Network has completed DigiEDT project for Care mployabilityInternational in Pakistan. Youth E Network has conducted 40 training sessions on business management skills and digitalization of a business.The project was implemented in five districts Multan, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad & Karachi.

Youth Employability Network has successfully completed the Ignite Financial Inclusion Project for Care international in Pakistan. YEN has done identification, Training need assessment and conducted 16 training for the micro, small and medium entrepreneursunder this project on the topic of enterprise development and digitalization of business. YEN has engaged 484 MSMEs in this project. The project was implemented in five districts Multan, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad & Karachi.

Youth Employability Network has competed Engaging Youth for Employment and Entrepreneurship (EYEE) project with VSO International, the project was implemented with 250 youth for entrepreneurship trainings and facilitation in business start-ups. YEN has facilitated 72 start-ups in this particular project. 1000 youth has been engaged in soft skills, computer literacy and E-commerce skills under this particular intervention.

Youth Employability Network has completed small Business Start-up & Management Training for women entrepreneurs with WWF-Pakistan, YEN has engaged 60 rural women entrepreneurs and conducted two training workshops for 60 rural women entrepreneurs under this project, YEN has also built linkages among the local markets, financial institution and other stakeholders. YEN has also delivered training on digital market skills for the women entrepreneurs under this intervention with WWF-Pakistan.

Youth Employability Network has completed four 3-days Training on enterprise development for 120 women entrepreneurs, topic include business management skills, entrepreneurial skills, business cycle, financial management of the business, digitalization of a business, record keeping of the business under Tum Khas ho Project. The project was funded by UN-Women. YEN has also built linkages among the local markets, financial institution and other stakeholders.

YEN has completed Entrepreneurship Trainings for SMEsproject with SMEDA-NBDP the trainings were done on entrepreneurship for the SMEs in Punjab, YEN has developed of the training material/ manual/ handouts/PPTs & facilitation to SMEs for business expansion plans

YEN has implemented National Financial Literacy Program (NFLP) in Punjab Pakistan with the collaboration with SBP BSC (Bank) Multan and financial support of Asian Development Bank (ADB) under this project YEN has completed 214 trainings on financial literacy for marginalized women groups and male community on the topics of budgeting, saving, starting a small business, investments, assess to financial institutions and loaning procedures. YEN has also done community theaters for awareness raising of the local communities.

Youth Employability Network has completed local level disengagement and rehabilitation project in collaboration with BEST-Pak and funded by United Nation Development Program (UNDP). YEN has engaged 200 youth under this project, the youth was supported through psychosocial support, skill trainings, business trainings, provision of toolkits and support for the business start-ups, soft skill trainings and linkages with financial institutions.

Youth Employability Network has completed Youth Empowerment project with Alsana welfare organization, under this project YEN has delivered Skill Training and business development training program with Alsana Welfare Society, YEN has conducted skill training of 30 trainees on computer literacy and online earning, Training of 30 trainees on electrician trainings, Training of 30 trainees on stitching & sewing work and Business development training of 90 trainees.

YEN has completed youth skill building and empowerment project with CEC. YEN has completed Skill building trainings for 75 youth with Creating Economic Change (CEC) on skill building on free-lancing & E-commerce, Beautician trade and stitching & embroidery. YEN has also delivered skill-based business training for the project beneficiaries.

Youth Employability Network has signed MoU for Skill training program for the rural women with Courage development foundation. In this project YEN will facilitate 300 rural women for skill trainings and entrepreneurship training. The project will be completed in December 2024.

Youth Employability Network is working as a consortium partner with Community Development Foundation to uplift the rural women with the use of modern technologies under “Role of ICT for women economic empowerment” Project. Youth Employability Network will facilitate 3500 rural women to understand and use the ICT for their economic empowerment. The project will be completed in June 2024

Youth Employability Network has completed the life skills, mental wellbeing and career coaching training project with FDO/WHH/EU. In this project YEN has trained 120 youth on life skills, mental wellbeing and career counselling in digital world earning opportunities

Youth Employability Network has successfully completed National Financial Literacy Program implemented in Bahawalpur Region Punjab Pakistan. Training on financial literacy for marginalized women and men on the topics of budgeting, saving, starting a small business, investments, assess to financial institutions and loaning procedures.Linkages among the women entrepreneurs and others with market networks and financial institutions. The project is funded by State Bank of Pakistan Banking Service Corporation Bahawalpur (SBP BSC (Bank) Bahawalpur) & Asian Development Bank.

Youth Employability Network has worked with Higher Education Commission Pakistan and delivered trainings to 130 women entrepreneurs from different universities in Pakistan on different topics e.g. small business start-up & management, business plan development, digital marketing, research-based business start-ups and financial management training. Training were delivered under USAID Merit and need based scholarship program.

Youth Employability Network has completed the life skills, mental wellbeing and career coaching project with LPP/Concern worldwide/EU. In this project YEN has trained 120 youth on life skills, mental wellbeing and career counselling. Youth has been engaged in psychosocial support, career coaching and life skills program in district Bahawalpur.
